From the Sea

for piano duet

This piece was inspired by the prints and paintings of artist Marilyn Maricle whose painting, “The Deep Delusion”, is featured on the cover. Images of mermaids, mermen, seahorses and foaming waves informed my writing. This piece can be performed with a PowerPoint slideshow of images from artist Marilyn Maricle timed with the music, available from the composer.
