Preludes
Six short pieces for solo piano.
The Preludes were finished in the desert of Death Valley, in February 2011. These six short piano pieces have descriptive titles that depict their inspiration. Prelude #5, "I Knew," is the only one that requires explanation. It contains a haunting melody that reflects the secrets we know about each other, but never tell. Cover photograph by Brian Marsh.
