Emma's Wisdom
Soprano with piano accompaniment.
This is my protest song, inspired by the words of Emma Goldman- anarchist and political activist. It includes musical references to Jewish modes and the piano writing of Frederic Rzewski in "The People United Will Never be Defeated." I hope it serves as a reminder of the power of each individual's expression in our turbulent society.
