Piano duo
These duo piano works are transcribed from Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's solo piano collection, "24 Negro Melodies." The Marsh-Titterington Duo arranged the five pieces during the COVID pandemic of 2020-2022.
- Oloba - of West African origin, possibly a praise song. Arranged by Lisa Ann Marsh.
- Deep River - an African-American song of hope, longing, peace and freedom. Arranged by Connie Titterington.
- Run, Mary, Run - taken from a Negro Spiritual. Arranged by Lisa Ann Marsh.
- Pilgrim's Song ("Poor Wayfaring Stranger")/Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child - a medley of songs about hardship and comfort. Arranged by Connie Titterington.
- The Bamboula - a dance performed to the beating of the bamboula, a primitive drum used by inhabitants of western Africa and the West Indies especially in voodoo ceremonies and incantations. Arranged by Lisa Ann Marsh.
